Job Description

This crucial role involves providing administrative support and managing information systems for humanitarian operations in conflict-affected regions.You'll implement information management projects, deploy new tools, and ensure seamless document sharing across teams.The position requires maintaining collaborative databases, conducting staff training, and offering technical IT support to enhance operational efficiency.Additionally, you'll handle sensitive office supplies, draft official correspondence, and coordinate high-profile visits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of information management projects and new tool deployments.
  • Organize training sessions on IM protocols and create instructional materials.
  • Manage electronic and paper document distribution within the sub-delegation.
  • Develop procedures for inter-site information transfer and maintain collaborative databases.
  • Conduct user profile management and provide second-level IT troubleshooting.
  • Oversee protection protocols for sensitive office supplies and visual identity compliance.
  • Install and maintain ICT equipment including computers and printers.
  • Draft non-confidential correspondence and coordinate logistical arrangements for meetings.
  • Facilitate donor visits and high-level delegations.

Eligibility

  • University Degree in Information Management, Information Technology or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in assistant or information management/IT roles within an international organization.
  • Level 1 IT support skills or certifications in digital workplace technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, HCL Lotus Notes, and web-based solutions.
  • Fluency in English and Hausa; familiarity with Yobe State context and local languages preferred.
  • Valid Nigerian work permit.
