Job Description
Genesis Group Nigeria seeks an experienced Internal Control Manager to safeguard assets and ensure operational compliance within our hospitality division.This pivotal role focuses on risk assessment, process improvement, and maintaining financial accuracy across all departments.The successful candidate will drive accountability while enhancing control frameworks in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments across key operational areas including front office, food & beverage, and procurement
- Develop and maintain internal control frameworks compliant with hospitality standards
- Oversee cash handling, inventory management, and billing procedures
- Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare detailed audit reports for management
- Implement loss prevention measures and process improvements
- Deliver internal control training to departmental teams
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA, ACCA, or CIA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in internal controls within the hospitality sector
- Proficiency in translating audit findings into actionable property-level solutions
- In-depth knowledge of hotel operations and cost control mechanisms
- Strong analytical abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and business-minded approach
