Job Description

We seek a skilled Project Engineer with subsea expertise to lead engineering activities across pipeline and field development initiatives.Successful candidates will execute project planning, technical documentation, and field operations while receiving mentorship from industry leaders.This role requires adaptability to emerging technologies and offers hands-on experience in offshore project execution and asset management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution for oil and gas developments
• Prepare technical documentation, cost estimates, and project reports
• Supervise onshore/offshore field operations and site activities
• Conduct QA/QC inspections, risk assessments, and integrity management tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and internal knowledge sharing
• Ensure contract compliance and quality standards for engineering deliverables
• Mentor trainee engineers on documentation and drawing standards

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Marine, Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Naval Architecture disciplines
• 4-6 years of engineering experience within the oil and gas sector
• Completion of NYSC program with relevant professional certifications
• Proficiency in P&IDs, ROV applications, flowline systems, and vessel/platform operations
• Advanced skills in MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and engineering software
• Knowledge of pipeline technology, subsea structures, RAM analysis, and functional safety
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and teamwork aptitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
